What is
the flight time from the UK? The
flight time is approximately 9hrs 15 minutes from the UK to
Puerto Plata airport. Can you
arrange flights? Unfortunately
we do not offer this
service. However we can hold your reservation for 48 hours
to allow you to book your flights. How
long can you hold my
reservation? We can
hold your reservation for 48 hours Are
there specific change over days? No, we
can check availability for any start day and any length of
stay How are
extra days priced? The
weekly price divided by 7 per day. How do
I pay for my reservation? When we
confirm availability we will send you a link by
e-mail, so that you can pay via Pay Pal with either debit or credit
card. Other methods of payment by agreement. When do
I pay the full amount? The full cost of the accommodation is due when you confirm your reservation. The
additional mandatory all-inclusive costs are payable to the Resort on
arrival. How do
I arrange the airport
transfer? When
you have confirmed your flights
please e-mail us with your flight numbers and your arrival/departure
dates and
times. We will then arrange the complimentary transfers to and from
Puerto Plata Airport where you will be met by the driver who will hold
up a notice with your name/our name on it. If you choose to
fly to a different airport, we may be able to arrange transfers for
you. This will incur a local charge to the taxi driver. Do I
need a Visa to enter the
Dominican Republic? For

Everyone visiting the Dominican Republic, including children, needs a
tourist
card, which you can buy at the airport on arrival for US$10. A
departure tax of
US$20 must also be paid when leaving the Dominican Republic. What
currency do I need to take with
me? Although
the official currency is the
Dominican Peso, we have found that most people prefer to accept US
dollars.
Foreign exchange is available at the Main Reception. What
vaccinations do I need to go to
the Dominican Republic? For
current information go to www.fco.gov.uk. It is
always advisable to consult your GP on the best options for
you. Is car
hire available? Yes.
